Getting young players comfortable on the ice starts with the right skate, and the CCM NEXT 2026 is built exactly with that in mind. It looks and feels like a real hockey skate while packing in the comfort and support features that kids actually need when they're just finding their footing.

The injected core boot gives it solid structure and durability without being stiff, and the mesh skin graphic keeps it looking sharp out on the ice. ADPT memory foam wraps around the ankles with an added comfort pad at the boot cut for a snug, personalized fit that gets better every time they lace up. The dual layer tongue uses 5mm felt with a 4mm foam core for added comfort and protection, while also improving forward flexion so younger skaters can work on their stride without fighting their gear. The kid sizing zone footbed is designed specifically for smaller feet, keeping everything locked in and supported from the first shift on. 

Down below, the CCM Speedblade holder features a non replaceable steel blade with an elevated holder for an increased attack angle, giving young players a stable, confidence building feel on the ice.
