When you want to put elite level protection on your youth player, the Bauer RE-AKT 100 Youth Combo is one of the best options at this age group. It packs some of Bauer's top protection technologies into a youth-specific fit, and comes with a cage included so they're ready to play right away.
The standout feature is the SUSPEND-TECH liner built with PORON XRD foam. The liner is designed to stretch and compress on impact, allowing the helmet to move slightly independent of the head to absorb force and reduce the amount of energy transferred to the player. That's paired with a triple-density impact management foam system throughout the shell and dual-density ear cover protection so no area is left underprotected. A spring loaded occipital lock cinches the back of the helmet snug to the head, and the two-piece shell adjusts front to back with a simple tool free flip clip, giving you some room for growth without needing to size up right away.
The included RE-AKT facemask uses four position J-clips and adjustable top clips to fit a range of head shapes, and the triple density chin cup is made with PORON XRD foam and treated with Microban antibacterial protection to keep odors and mildew in check over time. A quick release chin strap buckle makes getting the helmet on and off easy for younger players.

Returns / Refunds
30 Day Policy
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a return/refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Return Shipping Responsibility
While there are a couple of exceptions, we do not cover return shipping costs for any returned items. We will however create a label for you, if you so wish, and the cost will be taken out of your refund amount. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within the same day of receipt. *It may take a day or so for the refund to post on your card*
